St. Mary’s High School Gateway and STEM Building Lynn, Massachusetts

DeIulis Brothers was awarded this project under a request for proposals for construction manager at risk services. This new building project involved construction of a three level building hosting the school’s new main entry, atrium lobby, main office, guidance offices and learning commons. The building also provides campus wide connectivity, bringing students from the academic buildings to the newly renovated dining commons and gymnasium. The lobby also leads to the new state-of-the-art 30,000 square foot STEM Building, providing technologically advanced classrooms, labs and makerspaces. An outdoor amphitheater, grotto and gardens was added to the project. Prior to the start of the building project, under separate contracts DeIulis Brothers oversaw the installation of a new campus wide hot water heating system, including new gas and electric services, and demolition of the school’s old steam boiler plant and chapel.
