North Shore Medical Center, Emergency Services Department, Salem, Massachusetts
DeIulis Brothers provided pre-construction budgeting and scheduling for this project, which led to a negotiated construction contract. Built adjacent to and adjoining North Shore Children’s Hospital, this project was notable for the following:
- State of the art emergency care facility, with separate adult and pediatric departments
- Extensive concrete, masonry and finish carpentry work that was carried out by our own crews
- Construction activities carried out adjacent to and within functioning North Shore Children’s Hospital Emergency Department without disrupting operations
- Multi-phased interior renovations to North Shore Children’s Hospital requiring precise coordination of work areas and final finishes
