DeIulis Brothers Construction is a full service general contracting firm. In addition to providing general contracting services, we also provide pre-construction
and construction management services.

General Construction:

We are “hands on” general contractors, experienced in all phases and types of construction, and we perform work either by competitive bid or on a negotiated basis. 

DeIulis Brothers Construction performs a large percentage of work with its own forces. Having control over the actual work enables us to schedule and carry out key phases of a project in a timely manner. While we prefer to perform the following work with our own forces, on negotiated projects we may subcontract some of this work if it is advantageous to the owner for cost and scheduling reasons.

Demolition Work: We have the resources and the capability to perform selective interior and exterior demolition.

Site Work: We perform our own site work using our own equipment, including excavation for foundations, excavation for and installation of site utilities and drainage, as well as the installation of site improvements, including curbs, walks and the like.

Concrete Work: We perform all concrete work with our own forces, including footings, foundations and slabs.

Masonry: We perform all masonry work with our own forces. In many cases, the masonry is the most visible external feature of a project. We pride ourselves on the quality and diversity of our masonry work, which can be seen on the many projects we have done over the years.

Rough Carpentry: We rely on our own forces to carry out this work, which is a great asset on time sensitive projects.

Finish Carpentry: We perform all finish carpentry with our own forces and take similar pride in the craftsmanship of our carpenter employees.

Pre-Construction & Construction Management Services:

Cost Estimating & Budgeting: We can provide a complete and detailed quantitative estimate based on plans and specifications furnished by the project architect. We will separately take off and price work we typically perform with our own forces (demolition, site, concrete, masonry and carpentry) and solicit competitive bids from subcontractors for work we do not perform ourselves. In those instances where the project bid documents are not complete or are at a very preliminary stage, we can provide budget pricing. We have extensive experience in pricing projects from a minimal amount of detail (schematic design with outline spec) with a fairly high degree of accuracy. We are able to draw on our own expertise in building design and development and work with knowledgeable design/build systems subcontractors to compile a more accurate estimate. 

Value Engineering: We have several key individuals with extensive and practical construction experience who can evaluate building systems and components for cost effectiveness and efficiency. We also have good working relationships with several subcontractors in key trades whose knowledge and expertise we can utilize in our evaluation.

Construction Management: Certain projects may be better administered under a construction management contract. For example, where a project needs to be fast-tracked construction may need to start before the construction documents are complete. DeIulis Brothers has the experience and resources to work on behalf of the project owner, to pre-qualify subcontractors, make recommendations, and oversee the project. Coupled with our ability to self-perform certain key phases of the work, we are able to deliver additional value to a particular project.
